11/20/2012 - 12:00am

Do you remember the first time someone handed you – or tossed to you – a free t-shirt? For decades, giveaway t-shirts have been an effective tool for marketing messages of all kinds, especially in sports.

The Philadelphia 76ers have invented a bigger and better way to get their giveaway shirts out to the people. They’ve designed the world’s largest t-shirt cannon.

A Cool T-Shirt Can Strike the Right Notes with Fans

11/15/2012 - 3:30pm

Starting a band is a tough proposition. Booking gigs, raising a fan base and releasing music online is enough to discourage even the most talented musicians.

So how do you generate a loyal group of fans when new independent bands start up every day? Cool t-shirts can help.

People connect so deeply to musical merchandise that they keep concert t-shirts for years. The Guardian even ran a continuing series featuring readers' favorite musical t-shirts.

Holidays are Coming, Do You Have Custom Presents

11/06/2012 - 3:21pm

'Tis the season to start planning your holiday gifts for friends, family and customers. This year, instead of sending a fruit cake or gifting people with logo pens, why not get a little creative with your gift giving? One great way to keep customers thinking about you during the holidays is to offer them a cool custom present with your company's logo on it.

If your design is well liked, a promotional present might just be a gift to your business as well as to a loyal customer.

Boldly Go with a New Custom Look

10/18/2012 - 4:13pm

In the world of Star Trek fandom, it's hard to broach a new frontier as far as promotional merchandise. There are exact replica uniforms, mini-models of every character, prosthetic makeup and even working phasers.

With such a saturated market, it's hard to get noticed. Graphic artist Juan Ortiz figured out a wonderful way to get product noticed. Ortiz designed a t-shirt representing each episode of the Original series. Each vintage-inspired original design is specifically tailored to the Star Trek market, while maintaining a unique and interesting look.

Custom Designs Get Your Brews in More Hands

06/04/2012 - 2:36pm

Flying Dog Ales founder George Stranahan credits a former neighbor for the striking designs on his bottles. Stranahan lived next door to gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, known by some as the guy Johnny Depp played in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Thompson was never above having a few drinks and Stranahan’s brew must have hit the spot. Soon Thompson introduced him to British artist Ralph Steadman, who illustrated most of Thompson’s works. Soon Steadman was drawing eye catching designs for all Flying Dog products. Thompson even wrote an essay on ale for Stranahan to use in Flying Dog publicity.

04/20/2012 - 2:04pm

There’s something pretty special about going to a baseball game in April. Maybe it’s the springtime look of the beautiful green grass in the outfield, or the first salty bite of a ballpark hotdog. Whatever the reason, we love going to the stadium to watch our home team (Go Nats!) and we cheer them on whenever we can. Even better, we take that team spirit back to the office with our custom screen printed cheer promotional items, and you can, too!
