People connect so deeply to musical merchandise that they keep concert t-shirts for years. The Guardian even ran a continuing series featuring readers' favorite musical t-shirts.

Though the government spends billions trying to protect soldiers with gear designed to stop bullets and knives, this year they realized that their body armor had one fundamental problem: it was designed for men.

In the world of Star Trek fandom, it's hard to broach a new frontier as far as promotional merchandise. There are exact replica uniforms, mini-models of every character, prosthetic makeup and even working phasers.

With such a saturated market, it's hard to get noticed. Graphic artist Juan Ortiz figured out a wonderful way to get product noticed. Ortiz designed a t-shirt representing each episode of the Original series. Each vintage-inspired original design is specifically tailored to the Star Trek market, while maintaining a unique and interesting look.
